Perserverar Hasta el Fin (Endure to the End)

Welp that is the 5th principle of the gospel, endure to the end... that's the part I'm at right now, Liniers is still welp, Liniers! We decided to work with members, so Sunday we were running around trying to get appointments with them. I must say I'm quite used to rejections in the street with contacts, but not so much used to rejections with members. In my whole life and my whole mission I've only seen that members love the missionaries. Here it is not so much that way. Several people when we asked if we could stop by said oh no I'm not that interested!! Um yes they are members of the church,. One lady said oh no I go to bed early, and we were like well we can pass by earlier and she said oh no I wake up and go to bed!! If you are going to lie at least be good at it!! So yeah I lost a little bit of faith after church on Sunday.

On Friday we had Zone Conf and my comp was really quiet all day so when we got home I asked if she was OK and she started crying and saying she had cried her whole interview with the president and she had told him how ugly it is to be here in Liniers and how she hates the thought of ending her mission here and all that stuff. He told her that she is the best missionary to be here in Liniers and that she and I need to just remember how great it feels to have success, because she and I have had a lot of success before in our missions and so we need to just remember those times to make it through these hard times!! I asked her why she hadn't talked to me about how she feels before, and she said she didn't want to ruin my happiness here. Haha. I was like do I seem happy here?? But apparently I do. I think its because I don't like to break down in front of people, so I seem happy! I am doing better here though. We have found a few new investigators who seem amazing!! I will talk about one of them, her name is Mayra. She is 20 years old and we found her doing contacts in the street. She was waiting for the bus listening to her mp3 and I didn't think anything of it but my comp went up to her and started talking to her. She actually took out her earphones and listened, but right as she was going to give us her address her bus came and as she was getting on the bus she shouted us her address and said pass by if you would like! And then I realized we didn't know her name so as the bus was driving away I shouted hey whats your name and she shouted it from the door!! It was really crazy!! Well we had our doubts, but the address is real but she was never home, so we decided to pass by Monday morning for the last time, and she was HOME!!!!!! We had a great lesson with her about the Plan of Salvation because her dad passed away when she was 14 and it is really sad for her. She loved it and we have another appointment with her tomorrow! We have had a couple more lessons really good like this one, but as much as I want to see people come to the waters of baptism I also worry about afterward. We have been meeting with inactive members and they all say they never felt welcomed into the ward because the members never were nice and so they never went back. I know that is only an excuse, but everyone has that excuse here. President Argyle is coming to the ward to talk to the members in a couple of weeks, I hope something changes!!

Welp that is my letter for the week, I love you all oh and I need to send a few shout outs: thanks Katie for being the best cousin in the world for the package!! Kate Shields, I loved the letter and will be responding shortly!! Moms easter package is amazing! And I love all the love and support I get from my family!! Happy birthday to Brian and Gracie, Devon, Amber, and Becky, and if I forgot anyone I'm very sorry!!

Love ya!!
